Since 2018 I worked for the Botanical Museum of the University of Zurich, which has been integrated into the university's Natural History Museum as a botanical collection. This collection mainly comprises historical botanical objects. I am therefore very interested in aspects of historical botany. I am also fascinated by the evolutionary processes that led to the mega-diversity of orchids and am involved in developing the content of the botanical section in the Natural History Museum. This is a fantastic task, because even though plants are rather quiet creatures, they have a lot to tell us!
