I completed my apprenticeship as a zoological taxidermist at the Muséum d'histoire naturelle in Neuchâtel from 1997-2001. I then worked for the Natural History Collection of the Principality of Liechtenstein until 2004, where I helped to set up the new National Museum. From 2004 to 2005 I had a studio in Nidau (BE) and worked as a freelancer for the Natural History Museum in Basel, among others. Before I started working at the museum in Zurich I was employed at the Natural History Museum of the Burgergemeinde Bern. In Zurich I am responsible for the following tasks:
- Maintenance of objects in the collections and exhibitions
- Making new objects such as skeletons, scientific bellows and mounts
- Liquid conservation / wet preparations
- Restoration of old objects
- Habitat replicas
