OK:GO Barrier-free accessibility

 

Thanks to accessibility information, people with disabilities can plan their trip to the museum independently.

Mobility

  • The entrance to the museum is at ground level.
  • Almost all areas are wheelchair accessible. An independently usable lift provides access to both floors.
  • A wheelchair toilet is available. The key can be obtained at the museum welcome desk.
  • Folding chairs are available on request.
  • Seating is available.

Vision

  • Labelled guide and assistance dogs are permitted in the exhibition.
  • People with visual impairments can obtain an interactive museum bag free of charge at the museum welcome desk. The bag supplements the exhibition with descriptions in braille and tactile materials.
  • The guided tour ‘In the jungle of the dinosaurs’ was developed for people with and without visual impairments.
  • There is no floor guidance system.

Hearing

  • Many texts are displayed on high-contrast screens.
  • Some of our films are subtitled.
